Prom Information

Prom Guidelines

Please review the rules below that are in place for the Junior-Senior Prom at Gas South Convention Center on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025. Please be sure you understand them and are aware of the consequences if you do not abide by them.I understand that I must follow all the rules, or I could be asked to leave the Prom.

1. "Photo ID is required for check-in at Prom. You can use a school ID from this year or last year, a Driver's License, or  Learner's Permit. If you do not have one of these, go to the media center to have them print your picture ID 

2. Prom will end promptly at 10:30 pm. You must have a ride by 10:30 pm. 

3. Suggestive or inappropriate dancing will not be allowed at all. This is a school-sponsored event. Please understand you WILL be asked to leave if you cannot dance appropriately. 

4. No excessively revealing (front and/or back) or short dresses will be allowed. If you think your dress is in violation of this dress code, please bring a picture with you wearing the dress to an administrator’s office. 

5. Gentlemen-Formal attire required. Shirts must be worn at all times. 

6. No glow sticks or open containers of any kind will be allowed. 

7. This is a school-sponsored event; therefore, all GCPS and Archer High School rules apply. 

8. Students must be present for half the school day on Friday before Prom.

9. Students who are suspended or expelled during this time are not allowed to attend any GCPS school function, including Prom. 

10. Archer High School students who are planning to bring a date that does not attend Archer High School to the dance are responsible for sharing this information with their date.

11. Tickets are non-refundable. Students who are suspended or have disciplinary actions against them around the time will not be allowed to attend Prom and their ticket is non-transferable and non-fundable. 

12. ALL tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Guest Information

Guests MUST be younger than 21 years of age and a completed guest form is required.

Students may purchase 1 guest ticket. 

Guest Form will be available closer to the prom date

Your Guest Form must be turned in by the due date for your guest to be permitted into prom.

Who can attend the prom?
Prom is a dance for any junior or senior who has purchased a prom ticket on My Payments Plus.
